recovering, Logan, dog tricks and relationships..

So I'm beginning to feel better. I attempted to get out and about and do some of my routine errands ( mostly pet-related ) but I quickly discovered that I wasn't feeling THAT much better. So I'm still taking it easy and trying to stay awake long enough to get my school work finished on time and sent in even though I'm not making it to class.

10 more weeks and my nephew Logan will be arriving. I can hardly believe it. He has a closet full of goodies here waiting on his arrival. Diapers, wipes, grooming kits, relief kits, emergency kits, tons of clothes/shoes, Disney's Cars themed goodies, I recently bought him a bath basin with a shower attachment ( basically just a hose that aids in rinsing ), woobies and bath necesseties, Ohio State everything, stuffed animals/toys, personalized keepsakes, and I got my sis an adorable brag book/memory book, and diaper bag! Between me and momma.. venus and justin won't have to buy a thing! Lucky them! I figure this is as close as I'm ever gonna get to shopping for my own child soooo I'm having a lot of fun with it! I only wish that I lived closer so that I could be with him all the time.. I'll definitely be spending less time in Columbus. I'm so incredibly happy. Wow. 10 weeks! TEN weeks!!!

I taught Rhett a new trick. I have nothing better to do while cooped up in this apartment recovering. He now knows how to rollover! That makes beg, sit, down, crawl, dance, and over. Now if only I could get him to quit trying to make a lovechild with the teddy Kristin and Jonathan sent! I call the teddy scarlet now.. it's only fitting. And if a stuffed poodle pops out then I suppose it'll be Bonnie.. and for those of you who are not familiar with Gone With the Wind.. then move on. ;-)

On the love front, I've received two txts from Michael within the last two days. The first saying something along the lines of " are you feeling better? hurry up! " and the second " I think I should come visit you today ".. unfortunately I got sidetracked and haven't responded yet. I suppose this is why I'm single ;-) Well, one of the many reasons.

I can't remember if I posted this or not but it appears as though Dan and Brian have ended their short-lived "relationship". I'm really impressed by Dan. He initiated the split.. sorta a long story but I do admire him for being so straightforward toward the whole thing. And as for another one of my friends and her developing relations with her crush.. things seem to be going well. I finally got to see what this guy looks like. I must say.. I wasn't expecting ugly or anything like that.. but she had me worried with her descriptions.. and I was very impressed. He's a doll! So now I'll be encouraging her more than ever!! *ahem*

I talked to a friend of mine from Bamaland a couple of days ago. It was so strange.. this kid asked me to marry him back in 02.. and with me moving off and a whole slew of other problems.. well.. obviously things didnt work out. Anyways.. he's gettin' married in March.. after what will be a 5 month engagement. *sigh* I certainly hope that works out but I have my doubts. Still.. I can't help but to be a lil sad about the whole thing.. he was my first lil b/f back in grammar school... we were so cute back then.. my how the times change..
