Where to begin..

It feels like it has been ages since I've updated blogspot. I'm not even sure where to start updating. So with that being said.. I'm just gonna rant about what's currently goin' on..

This past weekend was absolutely incredible. I went to the OSU/Michigan game with my mom and dad and OSU won, of course! The whole experience was surreal and I'm so sad that it's over with. My father is in the process of getting tickets to the championship bowl game.. I'll have an extra ticket to take someone of my choosing. Wow. I can't wait.

One thing I've learned in the last couple of weeks is that I have some of the best friends a person could ask for. After being dumped by you-know-who, my friends have been there to listen to me vent, hear me cry at 2 am, and then give me a good swift kick in the ass for whining about a guy who is ..in their opinion .. unworthy. Even though I'm not completely over the situation, I am making progress. I've been attempting to see other people and my mind isn't on you-know-who every second of every day. Close, but no. The more I think about everything that has happened.. the more I realize that I'm better off. There are no redeeming qualities about the guy.. he is an egotistical asshole who craves female attention. And, yes, that IS me being a bitter ex. ;-)

So thanksgiving is coming up!!! I'll get to go home for a few days and spend time with my wonderful family. Rhett is going to love being reuinited with Veil and Kibbles. He will finally have another dog to play with. Bless his heart. Thanksgiving also means tons of cooking, tons of eating, and tons of leftovers to bring home!! ;-) I just can't wait to be back with the family.. they always have a way of making me realize what is important in life. PLUS.. We find out the sex of the baby tomorrow!!! So I'm sure that will be the topic of conversation over Thanksgiving. :-D I can't wait..

So even though I've been down and out lately.. Im beginning to see through the fog. Things are great or anything.. nor do I feel like they are "good".. but they seem to be ok. I'll take ok. Thanks to everyone who has been there for me. You seriously have no idea how much it means to me..

Ok.. I would continue b/c there are tons of stuff that I need to touch on .. but I have a slight headache and need to step away from the computer before it gets horrible.
