Quickie!

So nothing new really. Around 4 am, while I was scaring myself to death watching a documentary on the 'backpacker killer', I felt a glob in my throat and the urge to sneeze. As I lie there.. I started to realize that it was the first hardcore sign that I was going to be facing a cold really soon. I mean.. my throat was sore to the touch for the last couple of days but it didn't feel like I was getting sick.. even though my momma told me I was. Who listens to their mom, right? ;-) So I got up and got some water and sipped on it until I managed to fall asleep. When I woke up.. I felt pressure behind my eye and my head throbbed when I leaned over. I called mom. She advised me to make a doctor's appointment b/c it would take about a week to get in. If I'm better by then.. I can cancel. But she wanted to make sure that if I couldn't that I'd be sure to be seen. My immune system is compromised already so i usually have a really difficult time fighting these things off. So now I'm hacking, wheezing, coughing, have a stuffy/draining nose, sinus headache and a weak body. Basically, I'm good for nothing.

So with that being said.. my weekend is shot. I'll be in bed for the next few days.. trying to pamper myself since I don't have a b/f to do it for me. =(

Oh.. and I forgot to post about this... BUT...

IT'S A GIRL!!! Madison Danielle Jenkins will be her name. And, of course, she will be beautiful.. I mean.. she will be bearing my name!!!! Of course!! jk.. ;-)
